Corbières native Michel Raynaud took over the property from his father in 1990, as the family tradition passed from one generation to the next. This was a key moment in his life. “It was where I began to seek the truth. The truth of my soils and my vineyards.” His aim was to capture the essence of this terroir in a wine of the highest possible quality.
Michel naturally chose red, his home region’s flagship wine colour, for this bottling. He goes the extra mile to deliver precisely everything that a great red wine from the south should be, using classic grape varieties from vines planted over 100 years ago.

Tasting notes
Domaine Plan de Roque has a dark red, almost black colour. The initial aromas on the nose are rich and assertive, with macerated black fruit, liquorice, coffee and light tobacco. The perfectly balanced flavours and the spicy notes on the palate are unmistakably those of a great red from the south. Notable tannins but notable finesse, underscored by a supple, rich mouthfeel.
And the pairing?
Pairs well with charcuterie platters, tender cuts of tasty red meat, and chocolate dessert.
